Reenactments
Sunday October 17, 2021
During FestaFall, on Sunday October 17, 2021, the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park produced historical re-enactments depicting persons of note who are interred in the park. Actors portrayed the persons and give a history of each. Friends presents this event every other year. This years program will included Moses Frankenberger, Rachel Grant Thompkins, William Davis, Caroline Gentry, Judge James Brown. The presentations started at 1:00 p.m. and continue until 4:00 p.m.

Labor of Love

As part of the 2021 Labor Day holiday, Spring Hill Cemetery had the
University of Charleston football team assist in yucca eradication and marker cleaning throughout the park.
Annual Celtic Calling Gathering
Saturday, March 5, 2022
As part of the annual Celtic Calling Gathering, a 5k Run/2K Walk was held in
Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum on March 5th, 2022. Kilts were not
required, but were welcome. It was a great chance to get some exercise, learn
some history and walk dogs.
