About Friends

Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum is a 501(c)3 organization which was founded in 2001. Friends works with the City of Charleston to promote the park, preserve and restore markers and structures, beautify with plantings, conduct tours and educational programs. The Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum was developed by Friends. It contains over 1400 trees with 109 different species represented. It is the largest Arb Net recognized arboretum in West Virginia.

Membership

Membership in Friends is an excellent way to stay involved in the historic and preservation efforts of the organization. See (right) to view our Membership form or click the button below to download and fill out.


Donations

Donations to Friends which go toward park improvements are appreciated. Donations are tax deductible and may be mailed to the park office or submitted via telephone at (304) 348-8010.


Cleaning

Friends will clean markers on request for a $100/marker donation.
